You've seen the triangle a hundred times, and it still fills the whole bus window. Stand at the base of Khufu's Great Pyramid and a single block comes up to your waist, which makes the word 'built' hard to believe. With the extra interior ticket you go in on the north face, up the tall Grand Gallery to the bare King's Chamber. The panorama point on the southwest of the plateau gives you the classic shot of all nine pyramids in a row. Entrances changed in 2025, and you now get around the plateau by shuttle bus.
