The observatory occupies floors 98 to 100 of LCT Landmark Tower, the needle at the end of Haeundae Beach. Step out of the lift and the beach shrinks to a sliver below the glass, with Dongbaek Island, Marine City and Gwangan Bridge lined up beyond. Part of the 100th floor has a glass floor, so the beach road sits right under your feet. The popular play is to grab a window seat in the 99th-floor café and wait for sunset.
