About half an hour out of the centre by bus, Lenin, Marx and Red Army soldiers stand in rows across an open field. They were taken down from squares around the city after 1989 and parked here together. Near the entrance a pair of giant boots on a plinth recalls the Stalin statue that crowds pulled down in 1956. There are small exhibition rooms and a shop with period souvenirs. It eats half a day, so skip it if the city plan is already tight.
