A brick-and-iron market hall from 1891, rescued by the neighbourhood. On weekday afternoons it's bakers, cheesemongers and a small brewery going about their business; at 5pm on Thursdays dozens of stalls set up for Street Food Thursday. Walk out toward Oranienstraße and the Landwehr Canal for the Kreuzberg mix of graffitied blocks, Turkish grocers and canal-side cafés. The Oberbaum Bridge is ten minutes east, so it pairs well with the East Side Gallery.
