If you want Turkish grilled meat rather than a döner, this is the name that comes up first in Berlin. The Adana kebab is minced lamb pressed onto a wide skewer and cooked over charcoal, served with spicy ezme and blistered peppers. There are two branches in Kreuzberg; the Skalitzer Straße one is brighter and roomier, better for groups. It stays open late, so plenty of people eat here before a night out.
