Address
Along Mühlenstraße, Friedrichshain, from near Ostbahnhof to the Oberbaum Bridge

The longest surviving stretch of the Berlin Wall, 1,316 m, was painted in 1990 by 118 artists from 21 countries. There's always a photo queue at the Brezhnev–Honecker 'Fraternal Kiss' and at the Trabant bursting through the concrete. Start at the Ostbahnhof end, walk along the river, then cross the red-brick Oberbaum Bridge into Kreuzberg. The river side of the wall is a free-for-all graffiti zone with a different feel altogether.
