Walk east from El Born and you are in the park. Its centrepiece is the Cascada, a fountain waterfall finished around 1881, with a young Gaudí said to have helped on the design. Next to it a small lake rents out rowing boats. On weekend afternoons locals spread blankets on the lawn with a beer. Part of the park is under renovation in 2026, so expect some fencing.
