A 19th-century Danish trading company's wharf and warehouses, turned into red-brick shopping sheds. Clothes and souvenir shops fill the warehouses, restaurants line the river side, and at the far end the Asiatique Sky wheel, about 60 m tall, turns and changes colour. You arrive by free shuttle boat from Sathorn pier, and plenty of people say the best part is those ten minutes watching the wheel grow. Flat, wide walkways make it easy with a pushchair or older parents.
