Padma sits deep in the Payangan jungle, a long drive northwest of Ubud town. Its infinity pool runs out toward the valley so that everything in front of you is green, and it fills about half of all photos of Ubud stays. There is a busy activity schedule, from morning yoga and koi feeding to bike tours, and the booking page even lists an archery range. The trade-off is distance: the palace, market and restaurants are too far for daily trips, and most guests say they simply stopped leaving.
