From the clifftop car park you take a steep run of stone steps and dirt path down to a long stretch of white sand. The descent takes 10–20 minutes, which keeps crowds away, and you can walk the beach end to end meeting only a handful of people. The surf is heavy and there are currents, so this is a beach for walking and sitting rather than swimming. Shade is scarce, so bring water and a hat.
