Less a shop than a hatch in the wall of a narrow alley off Spui. Since 1957 it has double-fried Flemish-style fries into paper cones here. The sauce board splits into 12 regulars and 11 Belgian ones; the local way is 'oorlog' (war): mayo, satay sauce and raw onion all at once. It won the Dutch newspaper AD's fries test in 2013.
