Singel 610–616, a row of stalls along the canal from Muntplein to Koningsplein

The stalls along one side of the canal actually sit on barges, and flowers have been sold here since the 1860s. These days you'll find more tulip-bulb packets, clog fridge magnets and cheese than cut flowers, so it's closer to a souvenir strip. Still, walls of colourful bulb bags are about as Dutch as it gets, and everyone takes a few photos.
