A large hotel on the water just east of Centraal, with the usual DoubleTree warm cookie at check-in. A June 2025 guest could choose between canal-side and courtyard rooms and says trains passing outside never came through the soundproofing. There's a rooftop bar on the top floor looking over the city. If your trip includes day trips to Rotterdam or Brussels, this is the easiest base.
