A whole 1920s Art Deco cinema, the old Ceintuur Theater, turned into a café. Under the soaring former auditorium ceiling, seating steps up level by level, so from the top you look down over the room. The ground floor is a coffee bar, the upper floors are for eating, and breakfast runs all day: coconut pancakes, fresh coconut water from the shell. It's about ten minutes' walk from the Albert Cuyp Market, a natural rest stop afterwards.
