With 260 stalls, De Pijp's street market calls itself the biggest daily market in Europe. Food stalls are wedged between clothes, flowers and phone cases. The stars are things you eat walking: stroopwafels pressed and syruped while you watch, herring from the fish carts, Surinamese chicken rolls. Metro 52 pops you out right in the middle.
