Xibu Street, Wulingyuan, about 800 m east of the park gate

Wulingyuan's best-known pedestrian street: timber houses along a stream, red lanterns at dusk. Walk and eat Changsha stinky tofu, Wugang braised duck, spicy dagu pi tripe and syrup-glazed tangyou baba rice cakes. Bars and souvenir shops mix in, so it fills an evening. Prices run 10–20% over town, by one guide's estimate.
