The main theatre at Zhangjiajie Charming Xiangxi International Culture Plaza, Wulingyuan

A large indoor show stitching together the songs, dances, wedding customs and old legends of the Tujia and Miao peoples of Xiangxi. Dozens of drummers pound at once and the stage fills with silver-laden costumes. Being close to the Wulingyuan hotels, it's the usual nightcap on tour itineraries after a full day in the Forest Park. It runs on music and movement more than dialogue, so you can follow it without Chinese.
