The white church you see across the water from St Mark's. Ride the lift up its bell tower and the campanile, the Doge's Palace, the mouth of the Grand Canal and the Salute are all in one frame. From St Mark's tower Venice is under your feet; from here you're looking at St Mark's, which is why plenty of people prefer the photos. The Palladio church below is free and has Tintoretto's Last Supper. It's one vaporetto stop away, so the boat ride counts as part of the view.
