Opened in 1963 with about 500 seats, the theatre stands beside the main square, so an evening show fits neatly after sightseeing. The repertoire leans on classics such as Swan Lake and La Bohème, with Mongolian works too. Shows are usually weekend afternoons around 5pm. Tickets come from the box office or ticket.mn.
