Opened in 1964, it is one of the city's old-timers. It was renovated in 2024 and has about 200 rooms across two towers, A and B. The square, Choijin Lama Temple (about 500 m) and the downtown bar strip are all on foot. Our November rate was US$94 with breakfast, the cheapest of the central hotels on this list. A free gym and sauna round it off.
