At the east end of Circular Quay sits a low waterfront building with the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House in one frame. Ferries slide past the outdoor tables while Sydney rock oysters arrive on ice, natural, kilpatrick (grilled with bacon sauce) or baked with cheese. A plate of those and a glass of white is a fair first-day ritual in Sydney. Mains are on the menu too, but people come here for the oysters and the view.
