TWG's tea salon and boutique inside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, built to look as if it floats over a still pool, ringed with potted orchids. In the boutique, more than 800 teas in yellow tins climb to the ceiling. From 2 to 6 pm the '1837' tea-time set, a pot of tea with six macarons or two scones, is S$25. TWG is a Singapore brand founded in 2008; the 1837 on the logo is the year Singapore's Chamber of Commerce was set up.
