As the sun drops the grills catch, and charcoal smoke settles over the whole hall. BBQ stingray, satay, oyster omelette and hokkien mee all sit under one roof. The real show is neighbourhood families filling the tables with beer and shared plates. Stalls keep their own days off, so a few are shut on certain evenings.
