A South Indian restaurant that began as a small thosai stall in 1974 and has been on Race Course Road since 1983. The dish is fish head curry, a whole large fish head simmered in curry, a Singapore creation. True to the official description, a touch of pineapple makes it hot, sour and faintly sweet. Rice and sides go on a banana leaf instead of a plate, and you eat with your hand or a spoon. Tandoori chicken, mutton biryani and flower crab are also on the menu.
