You hear it before you see it: a mallet on sandstone, a chisel in wood. Upstairs, silk painters bend over their work without looking up. Walking round is free, and so are the guided tours. It is a social enterprise that has trained rural young people since the 1990s, and the shop on the way out is worth a browse.
