Address
Right at the far end of the Triana bridge (Puente de Isabel II), by Plaza del Altozano

Cross the Triana bridge and the other bank feels like a different town. This was the barrio of Roma families, sailors and potters, and tile shops and ceramic workshops still line the streets. Triana Market, right at the end of the bridge, sits on the ruins of the old Inquisition castle, and you can go downstairs to see the walls. Upstairs, bars squeezed between ham, olive and fish stalls pour sherry with standing-room tapas. In the evening, the riverside bars on Calle Betis look back across the water at the Torre del Oro and the cathedral.
