A corner bar with stone columns on a lane behind the Giralda. The crowd spills onto the pavement and half of them eat standing with a beer. The menu is text on the wall, no pictures, so write your picks in Spanish on your phone and show the bartender. Tapas run about €3 each, so five or six won't hurt. Honey-drizzled fried aubergine, cheesy spinach and the pringá montadito are the usual orders.
