It sits on top of Namsan, so you can see it from all over Seoul, and from up here you can see all of Seoul in return, right down to the Han River. Ride the cable car up and the railings by the octagonal pavilion are buried under tens of thousands of padlocks in every colour. The observatory is a glass ring, so after dark you can walk around and watch the city lights spread out. Even without a ticket, the plaza at the foot of the tower has a decent night view.
