The ski jump from the 1972 Sapporo Olympics. A two-seat chairlift carries you to a deck at the top of the jump. From there the landing slope drops away almost like a cliff, with the city, the Ishikari plain and on a good day the sea spread out below. Seeing what the jumpers launch off is enough to make your knees wobble. The Olympic Museum at the bottom has a ski-jump simulator.
