A small harbour right under Fira's cliff, with a zigzag stair path climbing the rock above it. Donkeys plod up the path, and at the bottom there are cafes, tavernas and the jetty for caldera boat trips. After the bustle on the rim it is a good place to sit and look up at the cliff from sea level.
