Opposite I Love Saipan stands what looks like a big suburban bakery café airlifted to the island. The cases hold fruit tarts, sesame chapssal bread, apple buns and olive-cheese ciabatta, and plenty of visitors are surprised to find bread this good on Saipan. Upstairs is a quiet room with antique-style lamps. If your hotel doesn't include breakfast, this is where people stock up the night before. There's another branch inside the Kensington Hotel.
