The 135 steps where Audrey Hepburn ate gelato fan out from the piazza up to the church. To protect them, police now whistle at anyone sitting or eating on them. At the bottom is the Barcaccia, a half-sunken boat fountain, and from the railing in front of the church at the top you see Via Condotti running dead straight. It is 10–15 minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, so people string them together for a first-night walk.
