The city museum lays out Qingdao's story from fishing village through German concession to today. It is big enough that picking one exhibition beats trying to see it all. In autumn 2026 a special show of ancient Greek treasures from Puglia, Italy runs through November 15. It suits a rainy day or a break from the beach.
