Look up at the side wall on the lane and blue tiles cover it top to bottom, scenes from the story of Mount Carmel added in the early 20th century. It is nowhere near as crowded as the São Bento station hall, so you can stand and look as long as you like. Inside it is 18th-century Baroque. The Carmelitas church shares a wall with it.
