Koolhaas' giant white rock of a concert hall

A faceted white concrete block sits at an angle on the square: Rem Koolhaas' concert hall, opened in 2005. A guided tour takes you through the main hall with its glass walls and corrugated gold wall, then up to the rooftop terrace. You can drift into the lobby and cafe without a tour. Come on an evening with a concert and you see the building doing what it was built for.
