On the corner next to the Namba Grand Kagetsu comedy theatre, takoyaki never stop turning on the griddle under the red awning. Take a tray to go, or sit inside (roughly 80 seats) with a beer. The order to look for is the 'Ooiri' tray: sauce, salt, soy and mentaiko mayo side by side. Eight balls run about ¥650, a little under the big names on the Dotonbori canal.
