Set in the middle of Nakanoshima, the museum is full of exhibits you turn, press and pull. Floors are split by theme such as electricity, energy and space, so kids can run from one to the next. The domed planetarium has you half reclined looking up at the stars. The last show starts at 4pm, so arriving late means missing it. It is a go-to rainy-day pick for families.
