Take the shuttle elevator and you step out on the 16th floor straight into the galleries. One big special exhibition hangs at a time, and windows between the rooms open onto Tennoji far below. Shows swing from classical art to contemporary, so the mood changes completely by season. A free rooftop garden sits on the same floor, handy for a break before or after. It is much quieter than the Harukas observatory, which makes it a good rainy-day plan.
