People call it Okimyu. One half of the white modern building is the museum, the other half the art museum. The permanent exhibition runs through Ryukyu Kingdom crafts, clothing, ceramics and the island's wildlife in one sweep, and the art side shows work by Okinawan artists. It is a short walk from a monorail station, which makes it a good rainy-day swap.
