Koza, outside Kadena Air Base, was once packed with bars and diners serving US servicemen. Charlie Tacos goes back to that era, filling deep-fried hard shells with spiced meat, cheese and lettuce. The house 'Charlie Rice' puts the taco filling over rice. Pair it with a walk past Koza's old English signs and the post-war food story comes together.
