Sit down in a wooden tub and warm grey mud rises to your neck; the way it holds you up is oddly funny. After 15–20 minutes, as the mud starts drying on your skin, you rinse off under outdoor showers and move on to warm mineral soaks, waterfall pools and water slides for the rest of the afternoon. The pools are scattered through a garden of bamboo and stone, very much the resort look.
