Between Houston and Canal Streets: Broadway, Prince, Spring, Greene and Mercer Streets

South of Houston Street, 1800s factory buildings line up with cast-iron fronts and zigzag fire escapes. Nearly every ground floor is a shop, so switching from Broadway to Prince, Spring and Greene Streets can eat half a day. Stüssy, Supreme, Carhartt WIP, New York or Nowhere and Glossier are on many shopping lists, and the popular ones have queues at the door. For photos, the cream cast-iron facades on cobbled Greene Street are the favourite backdrop.
