A micro-hotel that opened in 2018 on the corner of 42nd Street and Ninth Avenue. Rooms are called 'pods'; the cheapest Bunk Pod is a bunk bed with its own shower room. It's tight, but Times Square and the theatre district are 10 minutes away on foot, and solo travellers write about it a lot. The 13:00 check-out helps on late-flight days.
