Walk into the ground-floor Schwemme and long wooden tables run on under vaulted ceilings while the brass band never seems to stop. Litre mugs slam down, and the regulars' tables have their own named steins hanging on racks. The food is Bavarian basics: pork knuckle, crackling roast pork, white sausages. It's half tourists, half locals and loud, which is exactly the point.
