One of the largest science and technology museums anywhere. Real aircraft hang from the ceiling, a U-boat is cut open on the floor, buttons set machines turning, and at set times a high-voltage show cracks real lightning. Renovation runs in phases until 2028, so some halls are shut, but people still say a day isn't enough for what's open. With small kids, the Kinderreich play area is built for ages 3 to 8.
