Founded in 1817 next to La Scala and on Via Montenapoleone since 1950. LVMH owns it now; when the building sold in 2025 there was talk of a move, but LVMH said its lease runs for several more years. Shoppers knock back espresso at the marble bar while panettone, millefoglie and marrons glacés gleam in the cases. Sitting down is pricey; standing at the bar is much lighter on the wallet.
