The galleries are a former locomotive factory, so the ceilings are huge and the floor runs on forever. Entry is free. At the far end stand Anselm Kiefer's Seven Heavenly Palaces, concrete and lead towers that make your neck ache. You can walk between them, and big paintings hang on the walls beside. The rest of the space hosts a rotating contemporary art programme.
