An old hotel on Little Collins Street, right behind Melbourne Town Hall. The building is historic, but reviews say the inside has been tidied up, and there's an indoor pool and a free gym. Guests all put location first: two minutes to Town Hall, five to the Block Arcade, everything in the CBD on foot. The cheapest Heritage rooms are small, but AUD 162–330 on our dates is cheap for the dead centre of the CBD.
