A converted family house sitting right over Rahba Kedima, the square of spice sellers and basket stalls. It calls itself 'modern Moroccan': beef with prunes, lamb neck slow-cooked for five hours, Agadir sardine kofta, all lighter than the classic versions. The roof is split over two or three levels, so at sunset you eat looking across the pink rooftops of the medina. A 9% service charge replaces tipping.
