The coffee room inside Dar el Bacha, a pasha's mansion built in 1910, and the original home of Bacha Coffee, now also in Singapore and other cities. Under carved cedar ceilings and tiled pillars, suited waiters pour from gold pots. The coffee list is long enough to be bound like a book. You need a museum ticket to get in, and one- to three-hour queues are common.
